Welcome to Fifth Grade and welcome to our class website! My name is Julie Newberry. This is my 15th year teaching. I have been at Cloverleaf Elementary School for 6 years. I have taught all subject areas in grades 3rd, 4th, and 5th. However, I strongly feel that fifth is definitely my favorite! I graduated from The University of West Georgia (UWG) in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education degree. I also received my Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education in 2009, also from UWG. More recently, I attended Kennesaw State University, where I completed my Educational Specialist Degree in Instructional Technology in 2013. I am married to Brent Newberry and have a wonderful son, Mason, who attends Woodland Middle School. He is in the seventh grade. II also have a four year old daughter, Charlotte, who is in Pre-K at CLES. I am very passionate about teaching and I hope to make experiences in my classroom very exciting and fun for the kids. Please feel free to contact at any time for any reason. I truly believe that by working together as a team, we can ensure the success of each child. My door is open and I encourage you to share your thoughts, ideas, and concerns.
